My mother taught me the art of feminine things and the importance of looking and smelling good. My earliest memory is sitting on her lap and being treated to some perfumed toilet water, red lips, and nails. As poor as we were, she always afforded perfume, rouge, lipstick, and pressed powder.
Later in life, I went to Barbizon Modeling and Finishing School where I taught these things to aspiring models. I was also the resident makeup artist for three years. My classes were always sought after. I had students from 4 to 64. It was a memorable time during my sighted years as I passed on these tools for success. When a person feels attractive, they tend to take on their best self, and a new level of self-confidence emerges.
