Monday morning marks military honors earned flags fly at half staff Recognized Author Notes My husband, Aubrey, spent almost 22 years in the United States Navy. These years were split almost evenly between active duty and reserve duty. Aubrey died unexpectedly on November 27, 2021, after a 4-week roller coaster battle in a Heart Hospital. He will be buried in a military cemetery, hence the delay between his death and the military interment. The funeral was held December 2nd. After the contest, this will be added to a book which will be entitled "Good-bye, My Red-Headed Boy." Thank you for reading. A special thanks to nikman for the use of "Huge and Sad."
