Valentine Poem contest entry

In Japan today,
You'd send me chocolates.
Here, I send you verses
And my love.

Author Notes
In Japan today, it is customary for women to send a box of chocolates to co-workers and male acquaintances on Valentine's Day. The more expensive the candy, the more sincere the affection intended. Men reciprocate with boxes of white chocolates on White Day (March 14). But here, as there, true lovers often let their fingers do the talking.
