There is a peaceful spot I know,
when I am stressed, it's where I go,
to watch the lovely river flow,
it tumbles down to rocks below.
The waterfall with cooling spray,
it helps relieve the heat, midday,
while in my special spot, I stay,
until the sun has gone away.
I take a walk 'neath pale moonlight,
that lights the path I walk at night,
the brilliant stars above, so bright,
it's really an amazing sight.
Two miles down, a meadow lies,
it's still at night, that's no surprise,
with just soft buzzing of some flies,
and swoosh of wings through darkened skies.
I have pain, I can't deny it,
sometimes my thoughts are in a riot,
but nature calms and all should try it,
God's gentle breath in meadows quiet.
