Time is a funny thing, don't you agree?
In youth it seems endless and moves so slowly,
the older you get, the faster it flies,
there's never enough for us all, no surprise.
The fact is, for everyone, time moves the same,
if we waste it, we've ourselves to blame,
Can't trap it in watches or clocks on the wall,
time marches on, will run out for us all.
The memories made in the time that I've had
so far, cause smiles, make me feel glad.
But times running out, I don't want it to be,
does anyone else feel the same as me?
So this is the place where I'll give some advice,
fulfill all your dreams now, never think twice,
my dream is to write books for kids, filled with rhyme,
my own advice I'll take, while I still have time.
