Mrs. Roy finally confessed today. They had adopted Mita when she was six months old. After Mrs.Roy became pregnant she started to resent Mita. The resentment quickly turned to hatred. Soon she could not bear to be around Mita but did not let her feelings show. Finally on their evening walk, yesterday, she suddenly pushed Mita onto the road, in front of oncoming cars. The eleven year old girl did not stand a chance. Writing Prompt Can you tell a complete story with just 75 words? That is the challenge of this flash fiction contest.
