God Only Knows by Tom Horonzy My Significant Other writing prompt entry |
I searched the world over
for a perfect fit in a perfect shoe, the impeccable cut of a three-piece suit, the culminating fulfillment of a hole-in-one and never found one of them. That said, I'd rather be dead than to live a day without you, the perfect fit I missed visiting the Florsheim store, the haberdasher on Savile Row and the swing needed to score an ace. You are my personal cardiologist. Incomparable in how you filled the void in my heart by exercising patience. Caring and compassionate, a friend, a lover and problem solver, lifting me when I fall down. Life would be more difficult without your positivity. Calm, cool, and collective leading by persuasion hearing and listening to what I have to say as if it was important. You begot the best of me, I never knew existed.
