I am tired of commercials, of the same ones all day long.
Mike Lindell, who thinks that $150 slippers isn’t wrong.
He discounts them to “just $49.95” as if that is a steal,
when his original price was outrageous to begin with, and certainly no deal.
Then there is Mike Huckaby, praising Relaxium Sleep with his wife,
who proves she can read cue cards—well, dogies, what a life!
And Larry Gatlin, all laid back in cowboy boots and twang,
gives his spiel—how Relaxium sure helps ever’thang.
And Mark Spitz, brags about his wins, and how he needs relief,
is plugging for Relief Factor, which is hard to "belief."
I just don’t like the bragging, but he prob’ly does need to,
because I didn’t recognize him. Old Mark has aged a few.
And gold and silver, "specially silver will somehow save the day,
because money won’t be any good and stocks, well, what the hey—
who knows what will happen there; I’m sincere when I say,
all I think that we can do is stay informed and pray.
I know commercials have to be, to pay for news and shows,
and repetition to the masses is to remind those
whose attention span is rather short and so we have to hear -
them come on, seems like every other second of the year!
And I’m really tired of them. I yam.
