Mooring refers to tying your boat to a dock, wharf, or pier.
The Manyoshu is the oldest collection of Classical Japanese poetry, compiled sometime after AD 759 during the Nara period. It reflects Buddhist teachings.
The Manyoshu is divided into songs about love, joy, sadness, or mourning the dead. The form in Japanese is 5-7-5-7-7-7 (in English pattern varies) = 38 syllables OR LESS wikipedia
