Did you know

the colors of the rainbow

mnemonically spelled

would be either

ROY G BIV or Vibgyor

when reversed.

Both of these have seven letters

representative of the crescent's colors.

Red, orange, yellow and green,

precede blue, indigo,
and violet

in that exacting order

when visualized with a prism,

or through water droplets

hung high in the sky by sunlight

refracted on the way in,

reflected while inside

and dispersed on its way out.

These colorful arcs

are always opposite of the sun.

If light is reflected twice,

within the droplets,

a double bow may be seen.

Furthermore, if viewed

from above, you may see

the bow turn full circle

Idk that; did you?

Writing Prompt
Write a poem which incorporates at least two colors. The idea is to use colors to infer meaning. Poem may be rhyming or not.

Author Notes
When searching in my mind to write a piece of at least two colors, the rainbow came to me, so I researched and found them interesting enough to share a few drops of knowledge.
