With consideration and concern for forest friends,
I will furnish food quite fervently.
Northland winters, fierce and harsh, can go on without end,
it makes me feel, they need help from me.
Freely feeding creatures when foraging's not enough,
fruit, nuts, mushrooms, I keep in supply.
Fine foods for my furry friends, to help through heavy snow,
will forever lift my spirts high.
Fantastic to watch them eat, it causes me delight,
Love to see them playing in the snow.
Often, they will come quite near, my woodland customers,
my backyard cafe, puts on quite a show.
