The good thing that happened recently was that Steve and I reconnected after a quarter of a century. We never admitted feelings back then, but we have now. I am beyond happy. (You may have read about him in two of my previous stories. In one I named no names. In the other, I called him "Kirk.") Thanks to Sandra Nelms-Ludwig who suggested some changes to the look of the poem.
