We cry when we are sad And even when we're glad. We cry when friends are dead, When things are left unsaid. We cry when we're upset, When we find our lost pet. Some tears fall when we pray And when we lose our way. We cry when we have pain, A splinter or a sprain. Tears fall when we're afraid, When debts are left unpaid. We cry when we fall down, When our child is found. We cry when cars won't start And of a broken heart.   Writing Prompt Please write a sad rhyming poem, at least rhyme every other line.
