Eighth-grader Gabby,  has been facing issues with some of her classmates.  She has stopped socializing, and spends all her time with her new best friend.  Feeling down, Gabby knew her BFF would provide the distraction needed at their play date after school.  After playing for hours, her sadness faded. In fact, she barely felt anything at all! Later, Gabby climbed into bed and drifted off to sleep... With her “best friend” charging on the nightstand... Writing Prompt Write a story on any topic.
