One Thousand Cranes
: Black Rain by Gypsy Blue Rose

cold and cruel black rain
      covers our withered front yard

cause you are not here
      to embrace me ... anymore

midst sombered shadows
      of our abandoned dark home

you took the sunshine
      and promises to grow old
      together ... but I'm alone
