Exceptional For a special person Be With Me by CD Richards 3-6-9 Poem contest entry

Walk with me to the dam on the hill where the scent of the pine trees is strong   Dance with me on a crystal clear night in the starlight and sing a soft song Stay with me while I'm still drawing breath then instead of "goodbye" say "so long" Author Notes I'm not sure there's a technical difference, but to my mind, "goodbye" has a finality about it that "so long" doesn't. The latter conveys a sense of "until we meet again". Minimal punctuation is intentional.
