It was around four in the afternoon when my
son called. He was coming over with his wife
and the three grandkids. They were going to
pick me up, take me out to eat and then visit
for the rest of the evening.
They only live a whole four blocks away and
I just saw them last weekend. But I still agreed,
trying to sound like I was actually excited.
As I was hanging up, I thought to myself,
"Great, so much for climbing into my PJ's
with a glass of wine and binge watching
Mandalorian on Disney all day."
