I’ll relate to you a tale
that’ll surely make you pale,
of the murderers around who you should dread.
Their penchant is for knives.
They have taken many lives.
If they set their sights on you, you will be dead.
Each October at this time,
they are feeling mighty fine
for you victims are as plentiful as dirt.
Avoid them if you can.
It is best to have a plan
to hide yourself and try to stay alert.
‘Cause if they’ve chosen you,
they will gouge you through and through
and extract from you your innards ‘til you’re bare.
Just a hollow shell you’ll be,
and it’s painful you’ll agree.
Don’t plead with them, they simply do not care.
They’ll cut out both your eyes
then your nose, you realize.
They’re not finished ‘cause your mouth is next, you’ll see.
It is useless to protest;
you’ll just end up like the rest—
a hideous attraction you will be.
Then they’ll light you up on fire.
It’s because they never tire
of humiliating innocents for fun.
Avoid them like the plague.
Try to hide from them, I beg,
or this Halloween a victim you’ll become.
