My Taraxacum has done well this year (DANDELION)
without much interjection,
no 'planting on' or 'feeding up'
and her color is my infection.
And interspersed my Bellis-Perennis (DAISY)
an image of snowy down,
with the strength and tenacity of the Oak
should ease the deepest frown.
There on the edge with necks so high
my Cirsium Vulgare beams, (THISTLE
but I ain't done a thing to welcome him in
yet he loves that position it seems.
And dressed as yet in many greens
my Genus Rumex spreads, (DOCK)
it's bitter taste in pleasant haste
with flowers like a spindless bed.
My Ranunculus Acris on the other hand (BUTTERCUP)
the meercat of my garden,
keeps a sunny eye from it's lofty perch
and never seeks my pardon.
And then we come to the ----- (GERANIUM)
Geranium Molle it's Latin name,
should this tenacious plant catch hold
you'll feel you've lost the game-
-Though with a name like Doves foot cranesBill
it comes to the human's aid,
for many years healing the sick
as a medicine, making the grade.
And there we have it, in every garden
the Ordinary survives,
Natura Flora with the heardy heart
it's place in nature contrives........2pp
