Just like this morning, for instance. She unsteadily rolled out of bed moaning, her hands crushing her temples. ‘Hmm… cramps, sleepless night…. Monthly thing,’ I deduced, so it’d be strong coffee instead of her usual tea. “It’ll pass, honey,” I consoled her. “It was your snoring, Walter. Period!” She snapped. That last word got me confused. Fearing the perfect storm, I boldly brewed both.
