Excellent 3rd Place Finish Devaluation Of Humanity by Douglas Goff 50 Word Flash writing prompt entry

On June 6, 2012, Wayne Wooten was shot and killed over an eighty dollar cellphone in Dallas, Texas. He was murdered by Devin “Studda” Beasley.   For this crime, Studda received a disgusting sentence of five years. He was eligible for release in 2015. This is neither a deterrent nor justice.  Writing Prompt Can you write a complete story with only 50 words? That's the challenge of this writing contest. Author Notes An actual case I just watched on TV. Bothered me.
