We run away from the night So scared there is no end in sight The beating of our hearts the only sound Missing everything we took for granted We pray for divine intervention   Doing nothing but waiting  For our plights to change Convinced we've been let down We give in to desperation And accept our fate   There are worse things than death Know this now You have not a chance When your time is done To give an effort in your life   No matter your God  No matter your faith Devine intervention only gets you halfway A life not nurtured is a waisted soul Which rots for all eternity   So, before you're forced  To watch your wasted life Go out and live and say with pride Life kicked my ass, but I kicked it back There is no better way to live than that
