Scenes from a Dance hall
Dance Hall Girl by Pamusart

Her silver eyes and ruby lips;
start twinkling when she mouths a
kiss
She starts to gyrate with her hips
there’s not a man who can resist

The men are plied with heavy drinks
She wants them all to go away
Their clothing now begins to stink
They’re smashed with nothing left to say

It’s time for her to take a break
The men all try to add more dough
‘Cause they don’t know her smile’s a fake
She must come back and close the show

She comes back out to hoots and cheers
She starts her act out in the crowd
A bumbling country boy’s in here
Her lipstick makes his tie seem loud

His wedding ring, he will not wear
He laughs and says that she’s the one
Without the drinks he wouldn’t dare
to do what he's already done

This married man just wants some fun
He knows he’s acting like a clown
He never even sees the gun
His wife has used to shoot him down

Author Notes
I guess the moral is to live a Godly life. This never would have happened but for the alcohol and debauchery

Of course his wife is a psycho. He did not deserve to die. However he put himself in a position that he could die.

I am not saying that every married man who goes out and has fun should be shot. What I am saying is that he put himself in the position to be shot. A lot of shootings happen at nightclubs and strip clubs and dance club is kind of like a strip club.

I know this is different than my usual fare. But, I do shock at the end like I have been doing lately
