My daughter keeps mentioning dying in her dreams. She says we all, including Grandma and kitty, die in the water. She says the water is wet. She says the water is cold. She says the water is blue. Every single morning, she says we die in the water. We are alarmed. Is she having premonitions? Maybe past life experiences? No. She’s two, and we learn she means we DIVE into the water… and then swim! Writing Prompt Can you tell a complete story with just 75 words? That is the challenge of this flash fiction contest.
