I desired to write a book,
but my muse stopped working.
Just the characters and plot
development were shirking.
Thought I'd write a mystery,
with graphic scenes detailed.
Then add some spice, a femme fatale,
with every draft I failed.
Or maybe a horror tale,
With Death the protagonist?
A cabin full of clueless teens
would soon cease to exist.
Perhaps a romance full of joy,
where fate steps in and then...
A couple meets, it ends so sweet,
been done time and again.
Then suddenly, my muse woke up,
and made a grand appearance!
Just as I was writing this,
it caused some interference.
Now though, I will pen a book,
that will cause great delight!
About someone who wants to,
but really just can't write!
