(Sung to the tune of My Favorite Things from The Sound of Music)   Lost in Space re-runs and nerds in black glasses  Star Trek conventions that draw in the masses Dungeons and Dragons the drama it brings These are a few of my favorite things.   Star Wars collectibles worth lots of money Filling my basement I think it's quite funny Binge watching Sci-fi the pleasure it brings These are a few of my favorite things.   When the sequels  And the prequels  Leave me boiling mad I simply geek out on my favorite things and then I don't feel so bad.   18 computers and 24 cell phones I'm saving money to make me some geek clones Nerd's the new cool so let's have us some flings These are a few of my favorite things.   Mathematicians and science fanatics They bring me joy with their off-colored antics Dressing like creatures from Lord of the Rings These are a few of my favorite things.   When the sequels And the prequels Leave me boiling mad  I simply geek out on my favorite things  And then I don't feel So bad.   Recognized Author Notes I choose to take an already written song and change the lyrics.
