The moon lights up fresh fallen snow
And through the gate, its fingers grow
Unspoiled, untouched by human hand
It stretches through the wiry strand

Moonbeams dance on a stage of white
And greet the silence of the night
No trace is left of their presence there
Their footprints swept away with care

The moonlight scares the night away
Its shining light as if to say
There's beauty in this quiet place
We won't allow a darkened face

I've never looked upon a scene
That has such peace; that's so serene
My gaze is drawn to realms above
Nature's way of expressing love
