While walking down a lonely trail I turned my head to see.    The largest animal I've ever seen was looking down at me.    Our cabin was a short distance away. Would we make it back?  It was hard to say.   The animal was dark grey in colour with characteristics of a mouse.  When it stood up on all fours  It looked as tall as a house. My friend and I trembled with fear as we quickly ran away. I’ll never forget the horror of the encounter we had that day.  Writing Prompt Write a poem of any type. These three words must be included in the poem: animal - horror - short
