. . . to see you naked is …       shorelines without reeds       bare boughs in autumn       fields after crops are harvested . . to see you naked is …       to understand the heartache       of the rain arriving too late       to put out the flames . . the blood moon cries crimson tears       over the trees’ embers       their black branches        have no leaves to blow . .  your womb yearns life       and your alluring lips        whisper sweet nothings        in the nook of my neck . . .     Author Notes Thank you very much for reading and reviewing my poem.
