Take a moment to pause and think,
Listen to the words I speak.
Work hard, don't give up,
Believe in yourself it'll get you far.
If at once you don't succeed, try,
Try again and yet again,
Know that you'll end up in the
Place you want to be.
Breathe deeply, concentrate.
Count on down from three...
Three...
Two...
One...
Enjoy each and every moment,
Of every single day,
For if you don't you'll regret it.
Don't compare yourself to others,
It'll only bring you down.
Hold your head up high,
You've got reasons to be proud.
Know that you will meet your one and only,
Within the next few years,
Though what you don't know,
Is that he will be your best friend.
Days will come and go,
Boyfriends here and there,
Hold on to who you are,
Don't lose yourself to them.
Love yourself, first and foremost,
Hold friends and family close.
See yourself for who you are...
A strong, willful young lady,
A mother and wife in the making,
Take this time to learn yourself,
So that one day you won't lose yourself
To your worst nightmare.
