"Mother, don't make me, please!!", I wailed. But she was adamant that I go to the dance with my brother and his date.
Hugging the wall, trying to vanish, I heard a voice, "Would you like to dance?" he squeaked. Turning to the guy, I realized he was more frightened than I...... I relaxed and said, "Sure." We both grinned.
