My husband is a gem, it's true.
For me, the perfect man.
Although there is one thing he does,
that I just cannot stand!
He never can and never will,
admit that he is wrong.
Even when it's proven,
his resistance remains strong.
No matter what the argument,
he only sees his side.
He really drives me crazy,
'till my frazzled nerves are fried.
I never get political,
I know I'll never win.
The discussion ends abruptly,
before it can begin.
He's stubborn and unflinching,
his opinions "always right",
sometimes we actually agree,
much to his delight.
Mostly we are opposites,
we rarely can agree.
It's just too bad that I am right
and he's too blind to see!
Every time we disagree,
all the things I say are true.
I love him dearly, think he's grand
but he doesn't have a clue.
I'm so glad I'M not like him
and always think I'm right.
I always set him straight you see,
so that we never fight.
