Gold Leaves of Autumn by Sugarray77
    Minute Poetry Contest Winner

Gold leaves of autumn wither, fall

tomb’s amber hall

they reach the ground

in silent sound

Old knowing, glowing ancient dell

portends, does tell

a truth foregone

that time moves on

Cold tendrils float throughout the air

‘tis promise faire

of hoarfrost lanes

when summer wanes
