She carries the basket with expertise
and distributes the delicate flowers with ease,
in her beautiful dress and her wonderful smile,
she looks a picture as she walks down the aisle.
She's been a flower girl many times before
to sisters and cousins and aunts and more.
The guests look on with admiration
as she plays her role with dedication.
Though her face is serene
her thoughts are far away, thinking,
I'll never enter a freakin' church again
until my own wedding day.
