Write a 2-5-2 syllable poem. It has three lines. The first line has 2 syllable, the second one 5 syllables and the last line 2 syllable. The subject can be anything. |

This poem has a hen in it.... Why do we never hear the phrase "rooster-pecked"?? It cuts both ways.
I am sure many men learn to step very carefully around their critical wives. It is so damaging to relationships when a partner is relentlessly critiqued in a demeaning way.
Psychological abuse is directed at too many women. I know from personal experience how undermining it is; how we end up blaming ourselves because we don't understand why someone who says they love us can be so hurtful. Therefore we rationalise it must be our fault and learn to hide our feelings, trying not to provoke another outburst.
A heart can break; a bond can be broken.
