Author Notes
Illustration from FanArt. Funny, those blue eyes are not the ones I had envisioned in composing this verse. ... LOL
'Rhythm' is prounounced as two sounds. So its syllable count disagrees with the way we pronounce it. Traditional Japanese Haiku word sounds are not equal to our English syllables. So for this verse, I chose the sound version. Thanks to the Gershwin brothers and Ella Fitzgerald for their classic song, "I Got Rhythm."
I've got rhythm, I've got music
I've got daisies in green pastures
I've got starlight
I've got sweet dreams
I've got my man
Who could ask for anything more
Songwriters: George Gershwin / Ira Gershwin
