A Werewolf's Sonnet by DragonSkulls
    A Monster Contest Winner

For countless years I feared what I became,
the beast that stalked the tranquil London streets.
A madness my own will could not contain
upon each night the full moon course repeats.

My victims all laid slain while shred and torn.
In shock I'd cry at horrors I had done.
I cursed the very day that I was born
and vowed to stop the monster I'd become.

But now I seize the change I can't prevent.
I kill with ample purpose to the cause.
Through murderous and vicious ill intent,
I long to feel their flesh beneath my claws.

What drives this beast are answers that you want.
At first the moon...but now it's just the hunt.

Author Notes
I manipulated this picture to look more like a werewolf. It
was just a regular wolf at first. Lol.

Thanks for reading.
