Though my memory does not recall
certain events when I was small
there are times pieces show through
in what I say and do -
some subconscious thought
forwardly brought
in my life
bidding
strife.

| Writing Prompt |
Write a nonet poem. It's a simple format. A nonet has nine lines. The first line has nine syllables, the second line eight syllables, the third line seven syllables, etc... until line nine that finishes with just one syllable. It can be on any subject and rhyming is optional. |
Author Notes
This came to me today as talk came up about one's past and trauma that may have occurred in it. Also appreciation goes out to jgrace for use of the artwork "Memories."
