It was many years ago when we first met,
a captured moment I can't forget.
You opened up the door for ME...
the cleaning lady, YOU...security.
You caught me off guard, that much is true,
with just one glance I fell for you.
When getting ready for work each night,
I'd take special care to look just right.
Fussing with my hair and my cleaning smock,
biding my time and watching the clock.
For the few brief moments when you used your key,
to open the building's front door for me.
While I cleaned the offices, you came around,
we'd speak a bit and soon I found,
how easy it was to talk to you.
My love and interest in you grew.
Your blond hair, green eyes, and sexy smile,
all worked together to beguile.
To make a quite long story short,
I'm happy to give this report...
We traded rings and hearts one day,
for forty years it's stayed that way.
So happy I took that job to find,
my very special Valentine.
