We walked, young lovers in the park,
Hands twined and smiling sheepishly.
Eyes all aglow with elfin spark,
Nadine would poke me gleefully.
Soon my response was tickling her,
Promoting shrieks: "Stop, Petey, please!"
Reward--a kiss! "Oh, thank you, sir!"
I asked, "May I have more of these?"
"Not till you promise to be sweet,
Genteel, deserving . . . gen'rous, too."
Complying earned a special treat.
"Again, kind sir, I beg of you."
Magnetic were our lips that day.
"Enjoy!" we heard our chaste hearts say.
