Jar of sunshine, I love you true;
tempting tastebuds as I unscrew.
Jam’s too sweet and honey’s runny;
you are the best value for money.
When I take off your yellow lid,
revealing paste that you keep hid,
I smile with glee and dip my finger –
Oh, nutty crunch, I love to linger.
Your tasty spread (crunchy, not smooth),
how I eat it, you’ll disapprove.
No need for bread – my finger’s fine.
This jar with me is mine, mine, mine!
I dip again and lick some more,
it tastes so good, I do adore
your texture as I slurp and crunch
some nuts to nibble for my lunch.
Another scoop of brown delight –
addicted, yes, that is my plight.
Peanut Butter is on my lips...
and then it goes straight to my hips.
