Summer's lease is almost done as trees change dresses, green to gold. Autumn isn't far behind, with cool crisp air and colors bold. Winter comes to blanket us, with covers white, fresh, cold, and clean. Spring will come when winter's done, as nature now redoes the scene. Every season we complain, too cold, too hot, bugs, too much rain! Writing Prompt The topic for this poetry contest is: SEASONS Write a five line poem that somehow incorporates the topic, Seasons. The poem has to be specifically about any or all seasons and creative approaches are encouraged. But contest voters will be asked to consider the topic when making a choice for a winner.
