I like that you are able to rhyme this pious message and still direct its
intention and attention toward and for a special person...They must be
sharing this among family and friends. Quite original and creative. teafor2

Thank you for reviewing. This was for one of our writers. Her husband had a stroke and while recovering, he had a seizure on Christmas Day which took him back to the hospital.
    Blessings and Happy New Year!

This is a lovely prayer from the heart, and a beautiful acrostic. I like the way you opened your poem, honoring God and acknowledging our dependence on Him. Praying with you for Wayne's healing and Rhonda's strength. Blessings. Carol

I love doing all my acrostics in rhyme too. This was so heartfelt and thoughtful for Wayne, Rhonda and Kylie. I believe your faithful poem is so authentic and your prayers are so in depth that God hears them and will answer them. Thank you for this wonderful prayer and poem for them.

Thank you for the super review for this little poem for our Rhonda's family! When I read yours, I knew I had to add to it. And I'm glad others did, too. I just checked it and found that it was missing the picture so I put another one. Keeping you in my prayers, too, Debi! Hugs!

It was lovely and I was so happy to see you post too.

Just so you know I think I will be posting another Patch and Ruby poem. I wrote it last week and so happy I did, even though it is just about impossible for me to lay in bed all day and not sit up and do something on the iPad. So I am going to post it. I appreciate the prayers but please pray they get me back in soon again. I even considered just going and not telling them but Glen said that would be wrong, and there is no way they couldn't tell how sick I am.
Thank you again for the prayers mostly for Wayne and Rhonda.

"Prayer is the science by which we can attune the human mind and will to the consciousness and will of God. Through prayer, we form a loving, personal relationship with God, and His response is unfailing. We read in Paramahansa Yogananda's autobiography: "The Lord responds to all and works for all. Yogananda believed that God is infinite, all-pervading, and self-aware, and that God exists within and beyond creation. He also believed that God is present in all forms, including in every person."

So, with all this said, we pray that God, within Wayne, will touch and see fit to heal his tumor! Thanks for sharing.

I pray that it's a benign tumor. I think as we age, we seem to grow unnecessary things! Thanks so much for praying with us, Santha! Hugs!

Hello Helen, thanks for offering up this thoughtful, heart felt prayer for Wayne and Rhonda. As we grow older, the list of issues we have to deal with seems to get longer. There isn't anything that the Lord can't handle though. I hope that knowledge that so many people are interceding for them will give them peace and strength.
Have a blessed evening gal.
Tom

Thank you so much, Dolly! I was surprised that the poem wanted to be in trochaic meter. I guess sometimes it flows the way it wants to.
    Hugs!
