Talk about making me ponder on your 5-7-5 haiku made me want to say
When one desires to stay in their protective state (the cocoon) and gets their pleasure from viewing the full Moon-
Is not ready for the reality indeed is a very lonely individual.

It really was a great treat since I write ancient imperial Japanese poetry. Your poem reminded me of the fun I used to have doing them. I will start again as soon as I get done with this writing endeavor.

This poem seems to "grab life" pretty well. I can feel the power people feel when going into new stages of life- "going out of the cocoon". Even though I still do not completely understand life like you might, due to lack of experience, your poem suggests to me that my life is just starting. This helps me to embrace the fact that I have to prepare for life's new obstacles. Thank you for providing me with that thought! :)
