When I see a picture of an eagle in flight, it always grabs my attention. Excellent two line poem with great meaning.
Thanks for sharing. Were you aware Benjamin Franklin wanted our national symbol to be a turkey? Now we have one in the White House.

Ah! The folk lore of eagles. The symbolism of effortless strength and gracefulness does give us the wish to emulate. The imagery is strong and the words flow well.

This is a difficult form to do well, but I very much like your poem. You've met the criteria and made a lot of sense at the same time.
