"He was leaning against the weight of his swirling thoughts." Though there's some very good imagery with thought in this poem, that line is a real gem.

I enjoyed this one very much. It speaks well to me as a person of almost 85 years of age. I am beginning to feel like the old man sitting in the garden. I wish you the very best with all of your writing, and I do wish you the very best and caring for your body as well. Patricia.

This poem, Seasons of the Body III, seems to find the man at peace with his place in the world and the time with which he has to enjoy and recall all that is his life. Nice.
