Thanks, I like this and the "loop" fashion in which you wrote in which sentences tie into each other. I think politicians do make us feel this way though there is so much momentum in the USA of various kinds it's hard for any one person to turn it -- like a super tanker filled with oil, and so much money involved in getting elected. I imagine most of them start out pretty starry eyed, become jaded after the 100th lobbyist for Big Pharma has approached them and they know they can't say no and get elected.

Great job I like this style of writing and your are very good at it. We seem to argue over whether we want to be smacked by the right or left hand of the same machine, then act surprised when nothing changes over and over. Hoping you make a twelve days of Christmas or Halloween one.

Hi Kahpot,
I was thinking you picked the perfect topic for a.loop poem. Politicians talk in circles and often say nothing at all or rephrase questions as answers. That is what the.repeated words in the loop poem reminds me of. Good luck in the contest!

Politicians are paid leaders, voted into office to strategize the best for it's people. They are very important. More so than some of us even think about. This is a great poem. Nicely voiced. Great work. Good luck in the contest :)

Sometimes I think we need to get rid of them all and start over. And I hate how some of them can be in office for years and year and years. I think there needs to a time period of it all because otherwise we never get new voices into the mix. It's always the same ones, like you said, on a big loop. Great job
