Amada.
I thank you for the wonderful education of Yoga and it's attributes..I've not been one to associate my body and emotions with the practice, but it seems to be a promise of total connection and relaxation. Thank you for sharing.

Thank you Carol for the open attitude to this program, and to my work. Much appreciated.

Yoga, what a joy that used to be.
Each of your words brought back a time when stress of everyday life was pushed away.
Oh to be able to still partake, it would be kindness to an over active mind.
thanks for sharing your poem, of soul searching, mind relaxing yoga.

Hi Amada,
I think I should remember this line when I do my yoga. I love the line you shape. Like this:
As my forehead
touches ground
Earth arises
to embrace me
( earth arises to embrace me. It really got to me) and oh! oh! oh! this one again,
My hands open
flower-like
and from my finger tips
crawl away the daunting drugs
that fuel my darkness. (that fuel my darkness)
Ah, I love the way you crafted the words. Very well written, my friend. Great Job.

After reading your lovely poem I think I will take yoga, it seems like fun and time for reflexion.
I love this stanza ...
Serene escape
in connect
with the rise and fall
of my breath
I wish you good luck in the contest my dear friend.

Hullo Amada ...
Under a most appropriate picture at the top, which is printed twice side-by-side, what you have written describing this particular exercise and position in the Yoga exercises, provides your readers with plenty of clear and vivid imagery. At the same time, you have incorporated the words as prescribed.
Thank you for sharing this with us and, as it is a Contest entry, Iwish you well.
With love from ... Nanette Mary.

The words and tone of your poem bring me with you into this zen like state. I can feel the release of tension, the connection with self and spirit and a refreshed self at the end. You gently allow me to envision your quiet movements while at the same time letting me feel the internal you. I like the words, " breathe out my internal race."My hands open
flower-like" and "emerges into a magnificent fresh healed vase." Lovely poem. Shannon

Hi Shannon. You know when I started writing this I wanted to put in my words the way i feel when doing Yoga and especially this position. Thank you so much, with much humility; I think that I achieved what I was trying to do. And at the same time to bring a sense of lightness to all you read this poem. Thanks!

Very nicely done. I barely could recognize the required words, which is a good thing. I enjoyed reading and reviewing this. Good luck to you.

One of these days I have to tell of my funny experience with yoga postures. I could stand on my head in full lotus posture. I could do a full plow posture. Now, I am lucky to do a lotus half posture.
Great poem, brings back memories of when I was young and supple.
thank You My Friend,
