Exceptional

You are an ace at horror poetry and prose. And I do love a goulish tale. Is Kirsten a fiend? Guess there is no need to waste formula on that child.

Your imagery was quite clear - seeing a sonogram of an infant with teeth is very offputting and it added to the horror of your story. I find nothing to negative to critique. This is exceptional.

Blessings to you,
Linda

You never disappoint when it comes to horror writing. This is truly horrifying! What a shock that would be for an expectant family. I was tempted to laugh at one point but refrained. It seemed like an inappropriate response until I read the author notes. Then I knew it was not only acceptable, but expected. So I laughed... And enjoyed your clever and morbid sense of humor.

One typo only...

A tiny tale in more ways than one - the author's notes as entertaining as the story. It took me a while to discern the teeth in the sonogram - brilliant touch - do you do this artwork yourself? I think I mentioned this before, but these would have made great old time radio scripts - such imaginative ideas with endings that linger.

Thanks, Mark. Some of the artwork is my own. However this photo (supposedly real and undoctered) was borrowed from a fellow photobucket user.

I do appreciate you taking the time to read and comment on the story. It's always a pleasure to hear from you.

Love your Tiny Tales. The soundtrack adds to the unnerving confusion but more so gets the blood pressure up and pumping while you wind us through to the anticipated horror. Not much scarier than a newborn that is a spawn of hell and you are the recipient and caretaker. Movies of demonic children are some of the scariest around. Nicely done Spooky! AT=/

Thanks, AT. The Omen, Rosemary's Baby, and -The Goodson, starring Home Alone actor, McCaully Caukin, are three of the most frightening films I've ever seen. So, I tend to agree.
Thanks a million for dropping by and reviewing this Tiny Tale for me. I deeply appreciate it.

Definitely a horror story to end for all time, stories relayed around the campfire at night, it reminds me a little of Chucky with all those teeth, his poor old mum without her hand, very chilliiing Dean, well done, my friend, blessings, Roy

Brilliant!!! I love how you can get me so involved in a lil tale. The author's notes are as delicious as the story itself, to me at least. You ROCK, Mr. Kuch!!

Well done :)

Always,
Missy

Oh, this one IS a TINY tale of horror. Every expectant mom would be on edge after reading this one. An interesting flip side of the "happy event" told to the reader in just a few lines. Just who is the dad anyway? Good job. Marilyn

I'd rather not divulge the father's identity, Marilyn for fear of incriminating myself. Suffice it to say, he ain't gonna' be a happy campet once he gets a gander at his newborn son, LOL.

Thanks for the read and review.

Dad will be a happy camper if it is similar to Rosemary's Baby. Yikes!
reply by the author on 20-Oct-2015
Haha, yeah, I nearly forgot! He becomes famous, right?
    Oh-h-h-h, goody, heh-heh...

The devil was the baby's father. I forgot you're 15 years younger than I am.
reply by the author on 20-Oct-2015
Oh, I knew that. I own the movie on Blu-ray (of course). I'm talking about his "adopted" father, Rosemary's actor husband, Guy Woodhouse, play by John Cassavetes. Remember, he made the Satanists a deal to allow Satan to impregnate his wife, played by Mia Farrow, and they in turn would make him a famous actor. Besides, I saw Rosemary's in the theater with my folks at eight years old. I loved it even then...

Your parents TOOK you to see it when you were 8???? Wow! Dean, that gave you your start into the macabre. John Cassavetes was always kind of creepy himself. I don't ever recall him playing a non-creepy part--do you?
reply by the author on 20-Oct-2015
Nope, Cassavetes always plated the weird roles.
Yeah, they couldn't get a baby sitter sometimes so they took me with them. That night was one of those times. Of course when Mia was nude on the bed, Mom made me duck down behind the seat in front of me to hide my eyes. Heck, looking back now, that was the best part of the whole movie, heh-heh!
reply by BeasPeas on 20-Oct-2015
Figures you would like the nude scene of Mia since she was all SKIN and BONES--heh,heh,heh!!

A better argument for bottle feeding I never read. You have the ability to produce greater horror in fewer lines than anyone I have ever come across on this web site or any other.

I think I had one like that...Tiger shark from birth.

Funny sonogram. I think they all look like little monsters on them, and then the woman doing it is all like, "Oh, look, there's its spine, and the heart is beating, and it's a boy." I think they don't know either and are blowing smoke up our skirts.

Anyway, lovely Halloween Tiny Tale, my friend. You have to be enjoying this season!

This one was meant for fun more than pure shock value. I hope you had some fun reading it.

Hospital and waiting rooms are creepy to start with. I heard of babies born with a full set of teeth before, but none of them bit off some ones hand, this must be a delivery from hell.
