Teachers learn more than they teach and those who help gain more in return than the mere numbers can ever indicate. Well written.

Yes, I agree we shouldn't complain or have negative thoughts. We should try what the writer has written here. When we help someone we are helping ourselves, we feel much better this way.
I love the art work and font.I enjoyed what you have written here. I must say your words have given me a good start to the day.

An admirable philosophy for sure. Our family motto, according to my immigrant grandparents, was "It's a good life if you don't weaken." So everybody buck up and help someone. Nice job.

Amen!
The fact is that good feeling often follow good actions, not precede them!
Sitting around complaining while doing nothing but examining the lint in one's belly button is so unproductive. Great job - I hope it changes a perspective or two :)

While it's true that we have a tendency to dwell on the negative ... it's also true that there's a lot to be negative about! having said that, your point is well made. Tom

How true. Taking action is much more productive than complaining all the time. I like the free verse style of this poem and the emphasis on many important points.

I sincerely believe we could radically change the world if we were to simply do what needs to be done without talking about it--and I agree we waste much energy and time in talking! Good job. GerryMacNeil

There are certainly a lot of issues out there and complaining not only does not help, it perpetuates the idea that someone else is responsible. Good job, I liked this.

I agree, to dwell on the negative
accentuates the negative to a heightened
sense of being which is the opposite to
what one really wants. Shake off the
shackles of doubt and move forward
good poem for discussion...
